Implementation Services
Expert implementation, underpinned by proven Project
& Transition Management skills, is critical to success in solutions
delivery; BT Lynx has a proven track record in deploying solutions
and IT services of any size or scope, for organisations large and small.
Successful deployment requires meticulous planning and management, with
the time scales for installation and all activities involved clearly identified.
Our commitment is to deliver both the experience and resource to achieve
implementation goals and deadlines, whatever they may be.
The first stages can include a pre-implementation workshop that, depending
on the solution or service involved, defines and documents critical areas
such as: goals and objectives; project scope; deliverables; constraints;
milestones; quality; change control; risks; and sign-off/closure.
Methodology
A Project Support Office (PSO) or similar is created at BT Lynx to ensure
work proceeds within the agreed scope and deployment schedule; this team
acts as a focal point for two-way communications between BT Lynx and the
customer, and is responsible for driving delivery.
All equipment required is delivered to our PDI
centre and then shipped to site, prior to installation. Installation takes
place over an agreed time scale and in a manner defined by the customer
and BT Lynx - the primary goal being fast and efficient implementation that
minimises any disruption to the customer organisation and ensures solution
delivery as planned.
BT Lynx installation engineers usually remain onsite until acceptance
testing is signed off.
