NHS Information Governance Statement of Compliance

BT Lynx has completed all requirements for the recently introduced NHS Information Governance. As a fully compliant Commercial Third Party BT Lynx will be ensured continued success in supplying software and hardware solutions to new and existing NHS contracts.

What is the Information Governance Statement of Compliance (IGSoC)?

The IGSoC is the agreement between NHS Connecting for Health and Approved Service Recipients that sets out the terms and conditions for use of NHS Connecting for Health services, including the N3 network, in order to preserve the integrity of those services.

Whenever an organisation comes in contact with either NHS Connecting For Health, BT or their service provider for changes to their N3 connection, they are being encouraged to sign up to the Statement of Compliance.

The purpose of the Statement of Compliance

To provide a broader agreement for the security requirements, which organisations must have in place before they can access the network, between NHS Connecting for Health and the connecting organisation.
