Although not a manufacturer, importer or brander of Electronic or Electrical Equipment (EEE), BT Lynx Ltd (Lynx) is directly engaged in the distribution chain of EEE. Lynx will therefore be affected by, and engaged in, the implementation of the Waste Electrical and Electronic (WEEE) directives.

Lynx intends to be proactively engaged in this process and work with all others engaged in this chain to ensure the effective compliance with the regulations once they are operational.

Lynx awaits the confirmation of the effective dates from the UK Government, and the registration of the primary manufacturers, importers and branders before making any further announcement regarding its detailed plans for compliance with the WEEE and RoHS directives.
